A picture of a black tote bag featuring a white graphic of a skull and wings with a stylized border around the top.

This hand-screened image is based on the “death’s head”, or winged skull, stop the headstone of Margaret Winniett (d. 28 February 1729, aged 5). The carving features rare and lovely scrolling around the winged skull. This stone was imported from Boston before any carvers were active in Nova Scotia. It stands in the Old Garrison Cemetery, Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia.
